Emergence of Bangladesh as a sovereign state

With this an independent and sovereign country has emerged in the world in the name of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Through the emergence of Bangladesh as an Independent country thousand years dream of the Bengalese was implemented. The news of victory was published in the following daily newspaper.

Soon after the victory the great heroes of Bangladesh began to return free and sovereign homeland. On January 10, 1972, Sheikh Mujib went to Rmnna Race Course Field. In the truck Sheikh Mujib was seen standing with the leaders. In the back the crores of people were following the great leaders.

On the way to racecourse, the soldiers are carrying the photographs of the two great leaders of Bangladesh and India with the flag of Bangladesh.

In the picture Sheikh Mujib began to weep by the cordial welcome of Bengali people during his delivery of speech on January 10, 1972.

The headstrong and immoral practices of Pakistanis proud were defeated. The great hero of this excellent incident was the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and in the background there was Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the Prime Minister of India. Getting freed from the jail of West Pakistan Bangabandhu returned to the independent country on 10th January, 1972. Before touching the soil of the country, Bangabandhu requested the Indian Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi to take back the Indian army from the soil of Bangladesh. On that request, Mrs. Indira Gandhi also took back the Indian forces. The Indian army returned to their country on 17 April 1972. That was the Bangabadhu's birthday gift by Mrs. Indira Gandhi.

After independence of the country I joined the services of PWD. My first posting was in Ganabhaban. Ganabhahan was the government office and residence of the Prime Minister Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman of newly Independent country Bangladesh. But Bangabandhu did not reside there. He only did official jobs in Ganabhaban.
